Five things to remember when swimming in Meech Lake:

  1. Swim in the corridors or within 30 metres of the shorelines.

  2. Swim counterclockwise in the corridors.

  3. Be visible--wear a brightly coloured swim cap and use a tow float.

  4. Stay off private property.

  5. Keep your voice low when on the beach in the early morning hours.

That's the pilot project in a nutshell. Thanks for cooperating.
