The National Capital Commission has invited NCOWSA members to participate in a stakeholder workshop on open water swimming in Gatineau Park, which will be held online in January 2021.

Through this workshop, the NCC will work with community members and the swimming community to jointly create the guidelines/framework that will allow for open water swimming in Gatineau Park, specifically at Meech Lake. This first meeting will enable the NCC to share information on the current context, explore issues and concerns with participants, and discuss the process that will guide the development of the framework.
